One of the seven founding members of the International Robotics Committee, Dr. Yuri Slater is one of the three founders still associated with the organization, and is its present leader.

And in spite of having NO spoken dialogue ever in the history of this comic, he still gets a place in the cast page.

As IRC members go, Dr. Yuri Slater is low on the totem pole of talent. His main skills seem to relate to his strong financial backing and his leadership skills, as he has not been too involved with the proceedings of the IRC's main triumphs in its beginning.
