Bio:
A particular type of Mettool called a "Cargo-type", Eddie was initially built to carry Dr. Light's luggage.

However, when Dr. Light came up with the idea of a portable sub-dimensional storage space that could easilly help in the cargo industry, and when that experiment failed spectacularly... Eddie was created.

The corrupt sub-dimension inside of Eddie is completely under his own control and in turn, he gained sentient thought from it. The dimension makes him very violent and tempermental, and Eddie functions more on violence than anything else.

Eddie was asked by his creator and apparent business partner, Dr. Light, to seek out Dr. Wily and kill him and his family. While Eddie does succeed in sucking them into his dimension, he fails to account for Gemini Man (a robot he had sucked into his dimension five years ago) or Pharaoh Man, and is soon destroyed.

Eddie's Abilities:
Eddie's outer form didn't have very many powers, but is speedy enough to avoid being killed by Pharaoh Man. Eddie's main powers in this form are spring-loaded legs and a head strong enough to deliver powerful headbutts.

His inner form, the dimension, is tied to his outer form's physical ability. The more things he had plugged into his power core, the stronger he becomes. If Eddie's outer form is killed while something's attached to his power core, that something will die too.

Eddie's main power is his ability to suck people into the hell dimension that he contains, Eddie has near-complete control over the goings-on of his dimension, which means that most people sucked in are gonna be killed. However, he can't suck in very many at once (as he did with the Wilys), or he'll overheat and fall over, forcing him to find a way to restore his power.

In this state, Eddie loses much of his control over his own dimension, and that's pretty much how the Wilys managed to survive for as long as they did in it.
